Breathing exercises

SQUARE and CIRCULAR breathing videos are the foundation of my work, made of two basic ingredients: rhythm and concentration.

They help you:

  • Gain more control over your breathing patterns and balance your emotions
  • Increase your energy level
  • Clean the entire nervous system
  • Strengthen willpower

SQUARE PRANAYAMA

PRANA: breath, life, energy
AYAMA: controlling, length, expansion
SQUARE: you create a box as shown by the video

Before starting the exercise: sit down in a comfortable position, soles of the feet on the ground, palms of the hands on the thighs, straighten your spine:

  1. TAKE A DEEP BREATH IN TROUGH THE NOSE FOR 4 SECONDS
  2. HOLD IT FOR 4 SECONDS
  3. BREATH OUT SLOWLY TROUGH THE NOSE FOR 4 SECONDS
  4. HOLD IT FOR 4 SECONDS

Count at the speed that is more comfortable for you and continue to practice for 5 minutes. As you get better, your focus and lungs capacity expand, and you can increase the number of seconds from 4 to 5, 6 and so on.

CIRCULAR BREATHING

In this exercise there are no pauses between inhaling and exhaling and vice-versa.
Before starting the exercise: sit down in a comfortable position, soles of the feet on the ground, palms of the hands on the thighs, straighten your spine.

1st VERSION: BREATHING
BREATH IN TROUGH THE NOSE AS SOON AS THE RINGS TURN IN WHITE
BREATH OUT AS SOON AS THE DOT IN THE CENTRE TURNS IN BLUE
Continue for 5 minutes

2nd VERSION: GAZING
LOOK AT THE DOT IN THE CENTRE WITHOUT BLINKING THE EYES. THE DOT TURNS IN BLUE EVERY 4 SECONDS. IF YOU BLINK THE EYES YOU HAVE TO START TO COUNT FROM THE BEGINNING
HOW MANY BLUE DOTS CAN YOU COUNT BEFORE BLINKING?

Be gentle with yourself and continue to practice for 5 minutes.
It is simple but not easy! Keep on practicing and get better minute after minute. Be unstoppable!
